The Honeywell iGSMV4G is an internet and GSM cellular communicator with two-way voice applications. The iGSMV4G Cellular Communicator transmits signals to the AlarmNet Control Center (via the internet or GSM cellular network), which in turn routes those signals to your central station. If the Central Station is currently capable of receiving signals from AlarmNet, they are capable of receiving signals from the iGSMV4G communicators with no necessary changes. AlarmNet's 4G communicators are backwards compatible with 2G and 3G service. The trademarked "IntelliPath" feature enables the communicator to auto-select the optimum GSM path- 2G, 3G, or 4G. Basic features of the iGSMV4G include: 1) Full Contact ID reporting using ECP mode with Honeywell control panels (or when used along with a DCID/DCID-EXT) 2) Primary communication over internet. Uses HSPA+/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS as the backup to IP and SMS as a secondary or backup to the GSM path 3) Upload/download of compatible Honeywell control panels 4) Web-based programming using the AlarmNet Direct website, local programming with a 7720p program tool or panel pass-thru programming (panel revision dependent) 5) Remote services capability; optional Total Connect remote services 6) Two-way voice transport provides two-way voice over GSM (see note below) 7) Transformer (16.5VAC 40VA) and battery included NOTE: Two-way voice via Alarmnet 4G communicators require the AVS base station to be at revision 1.7 or higher. Two-way voice transport provides two-way voice over GSM via AlarmNet services when used with Honeywell's Audio Verification System (AVS). Your panel must support the AVS module in addressable mode for two-way voice over GSM.
Honeywell is focused on providing the best alarm communication solutions for the security industry. Alternative communication methods are critical in the marketplace due to VoIP, migration from POTS and global growth of digital networks. The Honeywell iGSMV4G communicator offers dual-path solutions with full data reporting and uploading/downloading for most Honeywell control panels. In addition, with onboard zone inputs and optional dialer capture capability, we're compatible with other manufacturers' security panels as well. Honeywell communication products and control panels combine to make installations faster and easier.
All signals are delivered to Honeywell's AlarmNet® Network Control Center, which routes the information to the GEOARM central station. The state-of-the-art AlarmNet Network Control Center is fully redundant and monitored 24/7. AlarmNet has the ability to route messages using AlarmNet-i and 800 PLUS services, providing true redundancy and multi-path message delivery.
